Ladera Oaks offers training to enhance your tennis game and improve your swim times, as well as guidance for a triathlon and other sports events. Triathlon Training

Have you decided it’s time to take up the challenge of a triathlon? Bravo for you! Ladera Oaks fitness professionals can help you get ready. Build friendships with other members who share your goal while you boost your strength and confidence. The swim staff can teach you techniques for achieving speed in the water, and the fitness staff can tailor a running and cycling program to have you at your peak strength and endurance for your event.

Ladera Oaks is surrounded by trails for cycling and hiking, making the club your “one-stop shop” for triathlon training. You can start with a swim, then bike and run on the trails, and return to the club to shower and relax. Where else could you find expert coaching, convenient facilities, and group motivation, all in beautiful surroundings close to home?  

 

Strength Training

Build and train your muscles with a wide selection of free weights, and Body Masters, LifeFitness and Maxicam equipment. Our equipment has been selected for effective and efficient strength workouts – on your own or with one of our personal trainers. 

While we are particularly supportive of tennis players, swimmers and triathletes, many of our members enjoy success in athletic endeavors further afield – like climbing Kilimanjaro, running the Big Sur Marathon and hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. Regular strength training not only feels good, it benefits all of your life’s activities!
